LIABILITY WAIVER, RELEASE, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in enrichment activities—including but not limited to STEM projects, art activities, physical movement, outdoor play, group activities, and hands-on learning—may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to minor injuries, illness, allergic reactions, or accidents. I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my child’s participation in the Program.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Neighborhood Enrichment Camps, its owners, directors, employees, instructors, volunteers, partners, affiliates, host locations, and contractors from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my child’s participation in the Program, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, illness, property damage, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

3. Medical Authorization

In the event of illness or injury, I authorize Neighborhood Enrichment Camps to seek emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached in a timely manner. I understand that all medical expenses incurred are my sole responsibility. I confirm that my child is physically and medically able to participate in camp activities.

4. Allergies and Special Needs

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to disclose any allergies, medical conditions, behavioral needs, or special accommodations required by my child at the time of registration. Neighborhood Enrichment Camps is not responsible for issues arising from undisclosed or inaccurately disclosed information.

5. Transportation Disclaimer

If transportation is provided or arranged, I understand that reasonable care will be taken; however, I release Neighborhood Enrichment Camps from liability related to transportation delays, incidents, or circumstances beyond their control, except where prohibited by law.

6. Behavioral Expectations

I understand that my child is expected to follow all camp rules and staff instructions. Neighborhood Enrichment Camps reserves the right to dismiss any child whose behavior compromises safety or disrupts the program. Dismissal due to behavior does not entitle the family to a refund.

7. Photo and Media Release

We strictly prohibit photography and videography. No staff member or volunteer working with Neighborhood Enrichment Camps is allowed to take pictures or videos of your child.

8. No Guarantees

I acknowledge that Neighborhood Enrichment Camps does not guarantee specific outcomes, skills, academic improvement, or results from participation in their programs.

9. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. If any portion of this waiver is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Acknowledgment and Agreement

I certify that I have read and fully understand this Liability Waiver, Release, and Assumption of Risk. I accept this document freely and voluntarily, understanding that it is legally binding.
